Senator Joe Manchin told his fellow dems to pause the enormous $3.5 trillion bill.
He wrote in a Thursday Wall Street Journal opinion piece, “I, for one, won’t support a $3.5 trillion bill, or anywhere near that level of additional spending, without greater clarity about why Congress chooses to ignore the serious effects inflation and debt have on existing government programs.”
Then he added, “By placing a strategic pause on this budgetary proposal, by significantly reducing the size of any possible reconciliation bill to only what America can afford and needs to spend, we can and will build a better and stronger nation for all our families.”
Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema also mentioned that she would not support the bill. Her spokesperson told Politico, “Proceedings in the U.S. House will have no impact on Kyrsten’s views about what is best for our country– including the fact that she will not support a budget reconciliation bill that costs $3.5 trillion.”
Finally, we have two democrats who actually know the right from the wrong, and seem to care about the future of America over lining their pockets. As of now, the twisted dems aren’t able to pass their spending package without their votes.
Independent Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders also thinks that the bill isn’t essential. He believes that the plan to address “climate change” and “social safety net” is more important.
He said, “Rebuilding our crumbling physical infrastructure– roads, bridges, water systems– is important. Rebuilding our crumbling human infrastructure– health care, education, climate change– is more important. No infrastructure bill without the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.”
Upon hearing all these comments, House Speaker Nancy only brushed their statements off. She told reporters that the House would move ahead with a $3.5 trillion measure.
Pelosi said, “I hope that as people are looking at numbers that they’re weighing the values and what we can accomplish with that legislation.”
She also said that it would be “impossible” to cut out any of the welfare programs included in the bill.
These are all terrible excuses from Pelosi. She obviously wants to help Biden implement this disastrous bill…
Patriot leader Mitch McConnel praised the democrats Manchin and Sinema for opposing their party’s proposal. He said on Guy Benson’s Fox Radio program. “I pray for them every night because not a single Republican will vote for this package, and that means that Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema could either kill the whole bill, write the whole bill, or buckle under pressure.”
Our patriots are starting to have some hope that not all dems are twisted. There are some like Manchin and Sinema who still choose to make the right decision.
